How It Began
After having lived the life of a senior leader in a large corporation, I embarked on considerable research about:
what organizations are looking for from leaders;
how women tend to contribute;
how we tend to hold ourselves back and
how we are generally ‘wired’.
From there, I created Red Chair Leadership Immersion.
What Do Women Experience and Do in Leadership Immersion
Originally a two-day Red Chair experience, it has become four, half-days where we meet virtually.

Contribute to creating a trusted circle with honest dialogue.
Participate in individual and group reflections.
Complete several self assessments including the Core Strengths Inventory.
Complete a bit of homework between sessions so you are ready for the next week.
Create your personal Leadership Vision and identify the strengths and opportunities that will help you live it out.
Meet with Shannon one-on-one following the fourth session to finalize your personal leadership vision.
What Do I Get as a Result of My Time in My Red Chair?
The main outcome of this Red Chair experience is for women to gain clarity on how they want to be and contribute in their world. A key output is your Personal Leadership Vision.
What Makes Leadership Immersion Different?
We meet in the safe and trusted space of Red Chair. Through purposeful facilitation and coaching, which you contribute to, we quickly establish a circle of trust, allowing you to peel back some of the layers, helping you see your potential in perhaps ways you may not have before.
This program goes beyond thinking our way through things. It invites you to also explore how you feel about yourself and how you want to be.

What Women Have Said About Their Experience in Leadership Immersion?
Red Chair Leadership Immersion is about understanding where you are today, the skillset and attributes you already have and use and being intentional on what is important for you (your values) for your future as a woman in leadership.
The coaching/facilitation was great! Loved the size of the group, and really appreciate the one-on-one session.
I personally believe this program is directed at any woman in leadership, at any moment or point in time in their career. Whether an established leader, someone who is wanting to understand what type of leader they want to be, and those who may not know if they want to be in a defined leadership role, because that can look and mean something different to everyone.
