Horses Help Us Lead Ourselves so we can Lead Others
It was perfect day at Red Chair Ranch for the first Reflect & Renew Retreat of the season.
The sun was warm.
The air was calm.
You could hear the birds overhead and in the trees.
The horses were rested from the winter and ready to work.
Five Women Arrived With . . .
Courageous curiosity.
An openness to what wanted to emerge.
An intention of what they wanted to focus on during the day.
The Herd . . .
Sensing their energy.
Offering their healing.
Mirroring.
Providing a safe, non-judgemental space to go inward.
To shed tears of release.
The messages . . .
You’ve got this.
You are okay.
Kick up your heals!
Recognize it. Replace it. Feel it.
Be intentional.
Five Women Leaving . . .
Having released - a belief that was holding them back, a stuck emotion, a question.
Having embraced - a new belief, an action, an answer.
Claiming joy.
Knowing with a little more certainty how they want to be in the world and what they will do to do so.
