Clarity. Choice. Change.

The sunrise is a symbol of a new beginning and a fresh perspective.

These past 10 months have challenged us in ways that most of us have not experienced before. There have been new concerns, new ways of communicating, new ways of doing business and new challenges as we lead our teams and influence others.

We can use these challenges as opportunities to grow as women who lead. We can use our ‘go-to’ strengths. We can pull up strengths that we tend not to leverage. We can get really clear on what is important to us about how we want to lead and influence.

We can choose to use this time as a sunrise for who we want to be as women who lead.

A couple of months ago, I asked some of the women who have spent time in their “red chair” for some feedback. They offered me statements like:

“It’s time, in a safe space, for greater connection to myself and others.”

“Shannon asks good questions that help me create clarity. She offers techniques and insights that help create greater awareness. It has helped me come up with a plan of how I want to move forward.”

When we have clarity, we can make choices and create change. If the universe isn’t giving us a big sign that now is the opportunity to step into our greatness, and to raise our voice and create change for ourselves and others, I don’t know when that would be.
