Choosing to See Ourselves in 2021
One thing that Annie continues to teach me, is the importance of being real about what is going on around me.
When I watch the herd dynamics I have noticed that there are times that she engages and times when she chooses to stay out of things.
She uses her energy wisely.
The more I observe her, the more I am convinced that this is how I want to be, more often.
It is a healthier way of living.
Of leading.
Of being true to my authentic self.
As we prepare to turn the page and start a new year, we bring with us all that we experienced in 2021.
What do you choose to see when you reflect back and how will this inform how you choose to be in 2022?
Here are a few questions you may want to reflect upon.
What did I do in 2021 that I want to remember?
How did I react to what was going on around me?
How did that work out?
What different emotions did I experience?
What would I do differently if I could?
How will this impact how I ‘show up’ in 2022?
As you prepare to close off 2021, I invite you to give yourself the gift of some time in your Red Chair.
Reflect on the year and what you want to bring with you into 2022.
Embrace what you see, the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Decide what action you will take so that you can be more of your authentic self.
May 2002 be a year of renewal, growth and healing for each of us, our families, our organizations, our communities and our earth.
